Rudder Finn has recently signed a highly controversial contract with the Government of Maldives, that was installed followed by a military and police backed coup which ousted the Maldives’ first democratically elected President. H.E. Mr. Mohamed Nasheed. The Government was toppled in a military take over followed by brutal use of force against pro-democracy activists in the Maldives since the coup. International community and media has closely reported and been monitoring the situation in the Maldives.
